I build a tremendous number of Joomla sites and it is always interesting to try new applications that come from expert developers and coders that are like me, totally 'into' Joomla.  The upshot of this is that every now and then I get hold of a little 'plugin' or 'module' that I feel is so fundamentally important to my sites that I build them into a standard installation. Some of these are free, for some there is a small price attached, nonetheless I include them because it makes me more professional and my sites more resilient and more functional.

I decided a while back to begin to create a directory of these programs and these now number upwards of 100  'Apps' that I use on a daily basis either in all or many of the installations I develop. I have decided to share this knowledge and will provide on this page full details of each Application and where to download it [if not from this site] and how I use it for 'best practice'.

I hope these prove as useful to you as they do to me and if you have any problems with them at all please refer back to the developers and not to me because, at the end of the day they, not me, have to support their products.
